Darla Markley No Guilt Bakery on Startup Santa Show

Having always been an avid baker and foodie. Diagnosed with celiac disease 20 years ago, which has driven her to practice in baking with non-traditional ingredients. Darla's personal belief is that "healthy" food should still taste good! No Guilt Baking was born.

Retired RN with a Masters in Nursing and Education. She became ill in 2009 with transverse myelitis which ended the career path she was on (PHD student). She was confined to a wheelchair for many years after. Over 2 years ago Darla and her husband embarked on a low carb adventure to help him control his Type II Diabetes. They never dreamed she would experience the improvements they have. The wheelchair has been officially retired! She may never regain 100% function, but is grateful to have experienced the gains made. Now she wants to help others be successful at improving their health!

Robert Blacklidge - Domi Station's Executive Director

He is an educator, mentor, speaker, and ecosystem builder. His work building the Florida Ecosystem has had and continues to have a significant impact locally and beyond. Robert has worked to bring several international programs to Florida communities. (1 Million Cups, Startup Grind, and Techstars Startup Weekend.)

It is through these efforts and the efforts of others that Florida communities have garnished national recognition. These current efforts are built on his past experience creating and running Hackathons including Office Depots, IEEE, Code Tampa, Startup Bus, and Biz Sprint. Robert volunteers running programs for several organizations to include Action Zone a veteran-focused business accelerator and Techstars Startup Week and Weekend.
